Meet

CHRISTY LINDNER, DVM

Education and Background

After earning her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2013, Dr. Lindner began her career at Hickory Flat Animal Hospital, where she developed a strong commitment to collaborative care. When the previous owner was ready to retire, Dr. Lindner took over the practice, continuing the same community-centered care that Hickory Flat has always provided. Dr. Lindner was the recipient of the “Best of Cherokee” Veterinarian award in both 2025 and 2026, recognizing her excellence and service to the community.

Approach

Dr. Lindner’s approach is rooted in empathy. She always seeks to connect with her clients and help them accomplish their goals for their pet. From annual checkups and preventive care to life’s unexpected moments, Dr. Lindner is here for you. Her goal is to always help you make the best decisions for your pet and treat them like one of her own.

Dr. Lindner’s philosophy is centered on the bond between people and their pets. She believes in building personal relationships with each family to create care plans that honor and strengthen that special connection.

Outside of the Office

Beyond her practice, Dr. Lindner is an active member of the Canton, GA community and a devoted mother of two, supporting her daughters’ hobbies in horseback riding and gymnastics. She also shares her home with their two beloved family dogs, a golden retriever and a black lab. An avid reader and traveler, Dr. Lindner is also a passionate fan of UGA sports and the Braves.
